Set up your recordable TV box

First, make sure your broadband is working, the light on your hub should be blue. If it’s not use our hub light guide to get back online

1. Plug one of the Mini Connectors directly into a power socket on the wall near your broadband hub.
2. Plug one end of the ethernet cable (yellow ends) into ‘port 1’ on the back of your hub.
3. Plug the other end into the ethernet port on top of the Mini Connector.
4. The power and ethernet lights will come on.

1. Plug the other Mini Connector directly into a power socket on the wall near your TV box.
2. Plug one end of the ethernet cable into ‘port 1’ on the back of your TV box.
3. Plug the other end into the ethernet port on top of the Mini Connector.
4. The power and ethernet lights will come on. Then, after a couple of minutes, the data light on both connectors will come on.

Problem with your Mini Connectors?

Plug the power cable into the back of the TV box and then plug the power socket into the nearest socket on the wall.

Switch on the power to the TV box. 

This cable might already be plugged into the back of your TV.

Plug it from the port in the wall into the ‘aerial in’ socket on the back of the TV box.

Press the standby button on the remote control or on the EE TV box. You may need to select the correct input or source on your TV remote to see EE TV.

Follow the instructions on your TV screen to finish setting up.
