Your BT Reward Card is pre-loaded with money and works anywhere Mastercard® is accepted. It's all digital, so it's safer than sending a physical card. It’s our way of saying thanks for choosing BT.
If your order is eligible for a Reward Card, we'll let you know in your order confirmation email, or you can check your rewards in My BT.
Where can it be used?
It works just like a debit card. It’s pre-loaded with a balance and can be used online or over the phone, wherever Mastercard® is accepted until the balance runs out or the card expires.
You can’t use the card for:
- Self-service machines (things like pay-at-the-pump, car parks, or train ticket machines).
- Subscriptions or automated payments.
- Cashback or ATM withdrawals.
- Foreign cash exchanges.
- Gambling services.
- Transferring funds to a bank account or paying off credit card bills.
Claim your BT Reward Card
Once your BT service is up and running:
- Go to Claim your BT Reward Card.
- Log in with your BT ID and password.
- If you’re eligible, fill in the form.
- We’ll send your digital card within 30 working days.
Activate your BT Reward Card
Once you get your card, we’ll email you with activation details. When you’ve got this:
- Visit bt.purecard.com.
- Enter your activation code and 9-digit card ID (these are on the email we sent with your card).
- Follow the steps to complete your account set-up.
- You’re ready to shop.

You can download the Pure Card app or go to bt.purecard.com to track your balance at any time.
Important: expiry times
- Activate your card within 3 months.
- Spend the balance within 12 months.
Not received your Reward Card?
We'll send it by email. It can take up to 30 days from the date of your claim to receive your Reward Card. If you’ve still not received it after this, email info@cardholdersvs.com for help.
Reward Card not working?
If your card is being declined:
- Check the retailer you’re using accepts Mastercard®.
- Check the balance on your rewards card using the Pure Card app or going to purecard.com.
- Email bt@purecard.com or call 0344 879 1068 to speak to the Card Services team.
