A BT ID is the username and password you need to access all your BT services.

With your BT ID, you can log into My BT online and all BT apps to:

  • View all your BT products.
  • Keep track of your bills and usage.
  • Set up and use your BT extras, such as EE WiFi and more.

You may have created a BT ID if you placed your order online at BT.com. If you did, we would have sent you a link to the email address you provided to activate your BT ID.

If a BT customer has given you a free BT Email address, then you’ll have had to set up a BT ID as part of the process to accept the email address you were given.

If you didn’t receive the email asking you to activate your BT ID, or you don’t have a BT ID, it's easy to create one. All you need is your BT account number, which you’ll find in the right corner of any bills we’ve sent you.
