Here's how to change APN settings on a Windows Phone with Windows 8 or Windows 7 >
Windows 8
- Swipe right to left to show Applications List
- Select Mobile Network
- Ensure data connection is set as on
- Go back to the main Applications List and select Access Point
- If EE is showing within the list, tap on it to make it active.
- If it isn't showing, select Add
Put in the following settings:
- Connection Name: Internet
- Data Type Preset: set to Default
Setting up the Internet APN
- Access Point Name: everywhere
- Username: eesecure
- Password: secure
- Proxy Address: leave blank
- Proxy Port: leave blank
- Network Type Preset: IPv4
- Authentication Type: preset
Setting up the MMS APN
- MMS Access Point Name: eezone
- Username: eesecure
- Password: secure
- Proxy Address: 149.254.201.135
- Proxy Port: 8080
- MMSC Address: http://MMS/
- Network Type Preset: IPv4
- Authentication Type: PAP
- Maximum Message Size: 307200
Make sure that all the settings are correct and then click on the Tick on the bottom of the screen to save and restart your phone.
Windows 7
- Go to Settings
- Select Mobile Network
- Select APN Add
Put in the following settings:
- Name: Internet. (You'll see a message: "Make this my current APN". Tick this box)
- APN: everywhere
- Proxy: leave blank
- Port: leave blank
- Username: eesecure
- Password: secure
Setting up MMS
You'll also need to set up your phone for multimedia. Scroll down the page to get to this.
- MMS Access Point Name: eezone
- Proxy Address: 149.254.201.135
- Port: 8080
- Username: eesecure
- Password: secure
- MMSC Address: http://MMS/
- Maximum Message Size: 307200
Make sure all the settings are correct then click Save followed by Confirm.
