Most of the time you can get yourself set up automatically by following the instructions we text you once you put your new SIM into your phone.
If your phone can't automatically accept the settings, you need to put them in yourself.

How to set up a BlackBerry > If you're using a BlackBerry with anything earlier than OS version 10 you won't be able to use mobile data on BT Mobile.
For other phones, there are four main settings you need for data:
- APN: everywhere
- Authentication type: PAP
- User name: eesecure
- Password: ee
Use our guides to show you how to put them in. (The guides might show other settings as well, but you should only need to put in these ones here for everything to work.)
If you can't find a guide for your phone, we may not have one for it yet. Here's a general guide on what to do:
To set up your phone for data
- From the home screen, tap the Menu button.
- Tap Settings
- Tap Mobile networks
- Tap Access Point Names
- Tap the Menu button
- Tap New APN
- Tap the Name field
- Enter Internet, then tap OK
- Tap the APN field
- Enter everywhere, then tap OK
- Tap the Username field
- Enter eesecure, then tap OK
- Tap the Password field
- Enter secure, then tap OK
- Tap Save
- Tap the Menu button
- Tap the button next to the new APN to set it as the active connection
Your data should now work.
