How can I change my BT ID password for My BT?

You can change your password at any time, provided you can log in to your My BT account. It's worth doing this from time to time to keep your account safe from phishing and other online threats.

To change your password:

Log in to My BT with your current BT ID.
Click Your Details.
Scroll down to 'Your BT ID details' and click on Edit password.
Enter your new and existing passwords in the required fields, then click Next.
You'll see a confirmation screen after completing the password change.
