The My BT app has a new and improved experience, designed to make it quicker and easier to manage your account.
With the My BT app, you can:
- Manage all your BT products in one place, including broadband, TV, home phone and mobile.
- View your bills and check your usage anytime.
- Control your connected devices with ease.
- Renew your package quickly and simply.
- Book and manage engineer appointments.
- Sign in faster with a single sign-on experience.
All in one app, without needing to call.
The My BT app has five main areas:
- Home - here you can quickly review your service details for your broadband, EE TV and mobile plans.
- My Bills - select your latest bill, or go back 12 months if you need to. You can download any bill as a PDF document if you need to print it. Here you can also view your latest usage data as well.
- Notifications - important updates from BT as well as up-to-date information about BT products and services.
- Services - Details of any benefits associated with your plan, and one-tap access to set up your hub and Wi-Fi network.
- Support - Track any orders you have with us; track a fault you've reported; test your connection speed; access Hub Manager to manage your broadband setup; Help and Support; My BT app settings and your privacy settings, and details of our privacy policy.
Your information in the app
Everything should be in real time. That means that your mobile minutes allowance will be updated as soon as your call finishes. Texts will also be updated as soon as you send them.
Data is also displayed in real time, but to see the latest usage, you'll need to stop any internet browsing and close your browser. If you want to see how it works, just turn aeroplane mode off and back on.
Your roaming usage
It depends on which country and network you're roaming on. It should be in real time in most countries, but for some countries, it can take several weeks to update.
