Most phones automatically set up when you insert a BT Mobile SIM. If mobile data or picture messages (MMS) aren't working, you can fix this by entering the settings manually.
These steps are for older Android phones only. If you use most recent models, or an iPhone, it should connect automatically.
Before you start
- Make sure you have mobile signal where you are. You need to be able to connect to mobile data, not just Wi-Fi.
- Your settings may look slightly different depending on your model. If you can’t find any of the below areas, try searching in your settings.
Check your data settings
- Go to Settings
- Tap Connections then Mobile Networks
- Tap Access Point Names
- Tap the Plus icon to add a new Access Point
- Fill in the fields with the below details and save:
| Name: | BT Mobile |
| APN: | everywhere |
| Username: | eesecure |
| Password: | secure |
