Can I change the login username?
Once set, the username can’t be changed. If you wish to use a new username you have to create a new account.
Note that creating a new account means that you’ll lose events, friends and all your personalised settings from the old account.
How can I change or reset my password?
In the BT Home Cam App:
- Log in to the BT Home Cam App
- Tap 'App Settings'
- Tap 'Change password'
- Enter your existing username and password and tap 'Send'
- Enter your new password and repeat it to confirm
In the Web Portal:
- Log in to the Web Portal at https://myhomecam.bt.com
- Select the 'Account' menu
- Click on 'Reset password'
- Enter your existing and new password
- Click 'Apply'
Can I get a password reminder?
Using the BT Home Cam App:
- On the login screen of the BT Home Cam App tap the 'Forgot login details?' link
- Enter your username and email address you used for the registration, and tap 'Send'
Using the Web Portal:
- On the login screen click on the 'Forgot Your Password?' link
- Enter your username and email address you used for the registration, and click 'Send'
