You can change your BT ID username and security details at any time by logging in to My BT and selecting Profile from the Settings link.
From here you can scroll down and select the information you want to update.
If you want to change your BT ID username remember it has to be an email address that you have access to. For security reasons, we’ll ask you to confirm this change by entering your BT ID password.

Similarly, if you change your security question, for security reasons we’ll ask you to confirm the answer to your current security question before we make this change.
