Connect devices

To connect using wi-fi you need your network name and password.

Android

1. Go to Settings - Network & internet.

2. Turn on wi-fi.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks.

4. Enter your password and tap ‘Connect.’

5. Wait for your device to connect.

Apple

1. Go to Settings – Wi-Fi.

2. Turn on wi-fi.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks.

4. Enter your password and tap ‘Connect.’

5. Wait for your device to connect.

Android

1. Click the wi-fi icon on the taskbar - it looks like wi-fi signal bars.

2. Select your hub from the list of networks  Click ‘Connect.’

3. Enter your password and click ‘Connect.’

4. Wait for your device to connect.

Windows 10

1. Click the Network icon on the taskbar - it looks like signal bars.

2. Select your hub from the list of networks. Click ‘Connect.’

3. Enter your password and click ‘Next.’

4.  Wait for your device to connect.

Windows 8

1. Click the Internet access icon on the taskbar - it looks like signal bars.

2. Turn wi-fi on.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks. Click ‘Connect.’

4. Enter your password and click Connect.

5. Wait for your device to connect.

Mac OS

1. Click the wi-fi icon on the menu bar.

2. Select your hub from the list of networks. Click ‘Connect.’

3. Enter your password and ‘Connect.’

4. Wait for your device to connect.

3. Enter your password and ‘Connect.’

4. Wait for your device to connect.

Xbox One

1. Press the Xbox button. 

2. Go to Profile & system – Settings – General – Network settings.

3. Click ‘Set up wireless network.’

4. Select your hub from the list of networks.

5. Enter your password.

6. Wait for your device to connect.

7. Check everything is working by going to Network settings and selecting ‘Test network connection.’

Xbox 360

1. Press the Xbox button.

2. Go to Settings – System – Network settings.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks.

4. Enter your password and select ‘Done.’

5. Wait for few moments, then your device should be connected.

PlayStation 4

1. Go to Settings – Network – Set up Internet Connection.

2. Select ‘Use Wi-FI’ and choose Easy.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks.

4. Enter your password.

5. Wait for a few moments. If you connect successfully ‘Test Internet Connect’ will appear.

Nintendo Switch

1. Open the Home menu and tap ‘System Settings.’

2. Go to Internet - Internet Settings.

3. Select your hub from the list of networks.

4. Enter your password.

5. Wait for a few minutes, while the Switch connects. When the process is complete tap OK.

1. Press the Xbox button.

6. Wait for your device to connect.

To connect your Amazon Echo smart speaker you’ll need to download the Amazon Alexa app for Android and Apple devices and follow the instructions. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to your home network.
